Hello fellow Pokemon players! My name is Evan Smith and today I am going to give you an interview with Luca Michelucci who is a senior and made top 4 at Richmond cities!

The Interview

Q: How does it feel to make top 4?

A: Pretty good. This is the first tournament I made top 4 at other than a League Challenge.

Q: What deck did you play?

     A: Yveltal/Gallade/No Zoroark because I am stupid.

Q: What was your record and what decks did you play against?

A: 3-1-1 Round 1- Fairies, Win. She dead drew and I got energies and Lysandres at the right time. Round 2- Mega Houndoom/Bats, Lost. Too hard to keep up with. Round 3- Toad/Manectric/Bats, Win. He dead drew and couldn't set up Manectrics. Round 4- Raichu/Flareon/Bats, Win. He didn't draw many Pikachus or Skyfields, when he did get Pikachu out I had Lysandre in hand. Round 5- Manectric/Water, Tie. Guranteed 4th seed for top cut.

Q: What is your favorite Pokemon?

     A: Machamp

Q: What got you interested in Pokemon?

A: When I first started Pokemon, I wanted to complete sets, and then went to a leauge and started playing competitively.

Q: What was the highest level tournament you ever attended?

     A: Regionals

Q: What caused you to play Yveltal/Gallade?

A: ast weekend cities were dominated by Lucario/Bats and Wobbats and I have experience with Yveltal.
